James Ryan King, 40, of Reidsville passed away November 2, 2023.
A memorial service will be held at Sharon Baptist Church, Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kenneth Hayes officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall.
Along with his mother Susan Crosbie King, Ryan was preceded in death by his sister Julie Beth King; and grandparents James and Frances King.
Ryan was a welder with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers for 22 years. He loved to cook, fish and pull a practical joke whenever he could. His heart was kind and huge. He was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back, always caring for others' happiness.
He is survived by his daughters, Breanna and Emily King; wife Kimberly King; father James King; sister Jennifer Thompson (Hank); nieces Kelsey & Kayden Thompson; and step-sisters Kristin Somers and Kenna Lucas.
