James Edward Klocek

JAMES EDWARD KLOCEK, 83, died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
Jim was born July 22, 1942 in Petoskey, Michigan to Walter and Ann (Kresnak) Klocek.
The family moved to Flint, MI when Jim was a child. He attended Flint Sacred Heart High School, graduating in 1960.
Jim moved to the Port Huron area, where he worked for Detroit Edison at the Marysville Power Plant. He retired with more than 40 years as a Journeyman Pipe fitter.
After retirement, Jim moved to Jonesborough, Tennessee. Missing friends and family, he moved back to Michigan, settling in the Lapeer area until his passing.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda (Casper) Klocek. He is survived by his two daughters, Michelle (Brian) Chrisenbery, Melissa Dawson and two granddaughters. He also leaves behind three siblings, Ron (Linda) Klocek of Otter Lake, Michigan, Pat (Brian) Simons of Genesee, Michigan, and Bill Klocek of Gaines, Michigan.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of his life will be held at later date. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home – Columbiaville.
