Obituary
James "Jim" Allen Lambert, 58, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. He was born August 4, 1965, in Michigan to Dennis Lambert and Patricia Tims Brown and Michael Brown. Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a lifetime member of the VFW. Jim was a man of detail, whether it be with work, his various projects, or maintaining things at home. He could fix anything and even built his granddaughter's playhouse, complete with a stained-glass window and landscaping. Jim was a talented artist and enjoyed woodworking. He drew phenomenal portraits and could carve incredible details. Even sidewalk chalk art was just gorgeous. Most of all he loved being with his family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.
Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Tina Lambert, sons Dustin Lambert (Marissa) and Jordan Lambert (Alyssa), grandchildren Amy, Bryson, Makinley, Olivia, Landon, Harrison, Lucas, Gracee, Kandace, and Daniel, sister Lana Carr (Gary), brother Dennis Lambert, Jr., several nieces, and nephews, as well as his devoted and loving dogs Nanook and Pico. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life is Monday, September 11, 2023, at 12:00 pm at the Montezuma Baptist Church. Samaritan Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements. Please check our website for updates.
