Jim & I worked together at both Landers & Calumet yards of the Norfolk & Western railroad. We carpooled because we both lived in Indiana but worked in Illinois. For a time we painted apartments during the day and worked at the railroad on the 2nd shift. We hunted deer, fished, golfed and played cards together. We became very good friends. Unfortunately, we lost touch nearly 25 years ago when I moved to Florida but I have often thought of Jim and hoped he was well.
My heartfelt condolences go out to his family as I know he will be missed.
