James Lee

Coats, NC:  Mr. James Carroll Lee, age 78, of 796 S. Lincoln Street, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday morning at his residence.  Funeral Service 11:00 AM Thursday at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Coats. Officiating will be Pastor Scott Johnson. Burial will follow in Harnett Devotional Gardens, Dunn, NC.Mr. Lee was born June 2, 1939 in Harnett County to the late Fernie B. and Iva Stevens Lee.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Fernie Bruce Lee.  Mr. Lee was a retired farmer.Surviving include, wife, Betty B. Lee, children and spouses, Sonnya and Michael Pope of Coats, Jimmy and Angie Lee of Angier, Tanya and Jeff Turlington of Coats, and Angie and Rick Ellington of Angier; step-children, C. J. Jackson of Fuquay Varina and  David Jackson of Coats. grandchildren; Nicholas and Heather Pope, Mitchell and Samantha Pope, Brandy and Cody Norris, Hailey Ennis, Luke James Lee, Brandon Turlington, Nicole Raynor, Dustin Lee Turlington, Landon Ellington, Elizabeth Ellington, Abbey Ellington, Spohia Ellington and Ira Ellington,  great-grandchildren; Thomas Pope, Ruthann Pope, Noah Pope, Catherine Pope, Jackson Pope, Grace Ellen Pope, Anna Laura Pope, Olivia Brosseau, J. J. Brosseau, Haaken Norris, Brendan Turlington, MaryMichael Raynor and Sebastian Turlington, sisters and brother-in-law, Doris Surles of Benson and Ina and Harold Langdon of Willow Spring; many nieces and nephewsFamily will receive friends 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats and other times at the home.Flowers are welcomed; however memorials to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or to Community Home Care and Hospice, 1231 N.
