James Edward "Jim" Luker, born on July 7, 1955, in London, Kentucky, passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 70. He was the beloved son of the late Ernest Jesse and Bertha Jane Phillips Luker. Jim was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Carol Jean Bill Luker.

Jim is survived by his loving daughters, Beth Wilkerson and her husband Mike, and Anna Smith and her husband Eric, both residing in London, Kentucky. He is also survived by his sister, Carolyn Caudill of London, and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie Jones and wife Tonya, Margaret Miller and husband A.J., both of London, and Janice Mullins and husband Richard of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. Jim was a proud grandfather to Haley Corey and her husband Devin, Williams Smith, Tara Wilkerson, and Aiden Smith. He leaves behind a host of relatives and friends who will deeply mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents and wife, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Luker, and sister-in-law, Maxine Luker.

Jim dedicated his career as a supply manager at MPI and was a valued member of Philpot Chapel.

His life will be celebrated with a funeral service at 3 pm on Monday at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel, followed by burial at the Landrum Cemetery in East Bernstadt.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at Bowling Funeral Home starting at 2 pm on Monday until the funeral hour.
