James P "Jim" Marckioli

James Peter "Jim" Marckioli, age 77, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025. He was born on September 27, 1948, in Oceanside, New York, to the late Anthony Rocco Marckioli and Edith Louise Gerlach Marckioli. Jim cherished his childhood in New York and the many friends he made there. He is survived by his wife, Topper Marckioli; children: Kelly Marckioli, Ben & Mariela Marckioli, and Annie Lamberto; as well as his beloved dogs, Maggie and DeeDee. Jim was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He began a career with Burger King that lasted 30 years and worked his way up to franchise ownership. For seven years he enjoyed building houses in the suburbs of Atlanta. Jim looked up to his brother, Bob, and loved visiting his brother's family in Florida. He enjoyed watching his son compete in auto racing and his daughter perform in theatre. Playing games and socializing with friends was a favorite pastime as well as cooking, watching movies, and cuddling with his dogs. Jim was devoted to his wife and was most proud of the beautiful family they started together. A Celebration of Life will be announced. Please check back for further details.
