James Clinton Mason

James C. Mason ,"Jimmy", 65 of Niceville Fl, passed away peacefully at West Florida Memorial

Hospital in Pensacola Florida on Nov 6th 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born July 11

1960 in Valparaiso Fl Jimmy was the son of the late James Carl Mason and survived by his

mother Shelby Jean Ward. He will be remembered for being a loving and caring husband to his

wife Chris Mason for over 48 years. Married on July 15th 1977 they shared a loving family

having two children, Crystal and Jerome.

Jimmy started his working career at Coca Cola Company in 1981 and then began his life long

passion of working with people and serving the community. Jimmy enjoy meeting people and

having deep conversations with all those he meet. He will be remembered for being a loving

son, husband, father and grandfather. His kindness , generosity, and gift for making everyone

feel like a friend will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Surviors include children, Crystal Yates and husband William; Jerome Mason and wife Kristina.

Grandchildren , Hayden and Evan Yates; Julianne and Carter Mason. Brothers, Mickey Mason,

Mark Ward and wife Deborah, and Timmy Mason. Sisters, Melody Lewis and husband Ben;

Jamie Faye Green and husband Danny. Survived by Paternal Uncle Lavon Mason and Aunt

Carla Faye Sallee, Joan Mae Cumbie, Kay Lewis, and Sue Young. Maternal Uncle Coy Broxton

and Aunt Donna Harrison, and Carolyn Harrison. As well as numerous Nieces, Nephews and

Cousins.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM Thursday, November 13th 2025 at McLaughlin Funeral

Home in Niceville, FL with service to follow. Interment will take place at Early Cemetery. The

Rev. Phil Daniels will be officiating.
