James David Masucci
James "Jim" David Masucci passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, just two months shy of his 91st birthday. Born on February 20, 1935, Jim lived a
life defined by faith, hard work, and an unwavering kindness that touched everyone he met. A proud graduate of the Linden McKinley High School Class of 1953, Jim was a standout
athlete in baseball, basketball, and football. He carried that same determination into adulthood, earning his bachelor's degree from Franklin University while working full-time to support his
young family. Jim dedicated 34 years of service to American Electric Power in Columbus before "retiring" into a second 20-year career at Minerva Lake Golf Course.
To know Jim was to know a man of deep faith and loyalty. He was a devoted husband of 69 years to his beloved wife, Patricia. An avid golfer, Jim was known as much for his skill on the
green as he was for his temperament. As one former league opponent remarked, you were probably going to lose the match, but Jim's encouraging words and gentle spirit made it an
absolute joy to play alongside him anyway.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Pasquale; mother, Mariantonia; and sister, Rose. He is survived and deeply missed by his wife, Patricia; his children, Nancy and Michael (Lisa); his
grandson, Aidan; his brother, Nick (Lynn); and a loving circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.
