James Maybin Obituary
Danny was a musician, blacksmith, farrier, craftsman, writer, builder, fisherman, and hunter. One could say that he was "a true jack of all trades." Danny was a devoted family man who cherished spending time with his family, especially his children who were his life. Above all, Danny was a man of faith who loved to share the Gospel of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, James Henry Maybin. Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 37 years, Lisa Ashmore Maybin; his children, James Paul Maybin and his wife, Allie Maybin, Luke Daniel Maybin and his wife, Anna Maybin, and Elise Abigail Maybin; his mother, Jan Ora Capps Maybin; sister and brother-in-law, Anne and Chuck Bowen; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Mountain View Baptist Church with Pastor Joshua Boyd officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 12:00 PM.
A graveside service will follow at Pearson Cemetery in Zirconia. Shuler Funeral Home has the honor of serving the family.
