Our beloved father, James "Jim" Warren McCormick, passed away in his home on August 31, 2025, at the age of 92. Jim was the son of Arthur Finley McCormick and Blanche Emily McCormick (nee: Burnett). He was the loving husband of 55 years to Christina Izatt McCormick. He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy, after serving aboard the USS Adirondack during the Korean War. He lived his life with faith, generosity, and dedication to others. He was also a proud Mason and Shriner, deeply committed to fellowship and service. He enjoyed and loved all things sports-related, especially football, baseball, basketball, and golf. He was from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and was a huge fan of his hometown teams, the Pitt Panthers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a loving and doting son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by those he loved - his daughters, Sherry Baca (Darryl), Laurie Travis (Ward), and Deborah McCormick; his grandchildren, D.J. Baca, Jeff Baca (Ruth), Henry Travis, and William Travis; his great granddaughter, Ava Ellis; and several of his nieces and nephews. Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Christina; his daughter, Kimberly Aldridge (Michael); his parents; and his siblings, Louis F. McCormick (Violet); Jack M. McCormick (Pearl); Mary Jane "Janey" Moore (James); Robert W. McCormick; and Margaret Ann "Peggy" Dittrich (Robert).
