James L. McNulty, it is with great sadness we lay to rest James (Jim) McNulty of Junction City. Jim passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Fairfield Medical Center.
He was born June 25, 1948 in Zanesville, Ohio to the Donald and Florence (Pea Wee) Savage McNulty.
He was a member of St. Rose Church, Am Vets, American Legion in Junction City, Eagles 2070 in New Lexington and Eagles in McConnelsville. He served in the Army and upon returning home he worked at Bryant's manufacturing, then later retired from Junction City Elementary, as a custodian. Jim lived his life to the fullest, bringing joy and laughter to the many friends and family members he leaves behind.
He is survived by sister, Karen (Rick Beach) VanMeter; brother, Bill (Barb) McNulty; nephews, Karl (Teresa Valentino) Yost, Jason (Sicilia Triona) VanMeter, Eric (Eve) McNulty, Justin McNulty; nieces, Erin (Rob Schmitt) McNulty, Beth (Liza Canales) McNulty, Stacie Fleming and several great- nieces and nephews who were quite fond of "Uncle Jim". He also leaves behind special friends, whom he relied greatly on, Judy Boyden and Jerry Berry.
In addition to his parents preceded in death by brother and sister- in- law, Mike and Mary Lou McNulty and nephew, Jeff Fleming.
No calling hours will be observed
A dignified cremation will take place
Burial to follow at New Lexington Cemetery
