James Randle McQueen was born October 29, 1953 in Laurel County, Kentucky. He was the late son of the late Clarence McQueen and Elsie Callahan McQueen. He was united in marriage to Barbara Bailey McQueen who survives of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. He is also survived by his three children, Christina McQueen of East Bernstadt, Diane Peyton of Monticello, Kentucky and Larry Bailey and wife Kristie of Florida; two siblings, Teresa Bowling and husband Lonnie of London, Kentucky and Gary McQueen and wife Darlene of East Bernstadt; one sister-in-law, Rose McQueen; seven grandchildren, Constance Bishop of Tampa, Florida, Derrick Peyton and Bethany Peyton both of Monticello, Kentucky, Nick Bailey, Jake Bailey, Blake Bailey, and Jaden Bishop all of Florida; five great-grandchildren; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by one brother, Charles McQueen.
He was employed as a Inspector Ladd Engineer and of the Pentecostal Faith.
James Randle McQueen departed this life Wednesday, May 8, 2024 being 70 years, 6 months, and 10 days of age.
The funeral services for James Randle McQueen will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Ted Eversole and Brian Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Ball-McQueen Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky.
The family of James Randle McQueen will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the service hour of 1:00 p.m.
Pallbearers: Darren Kilburn, Dakota Kilburn, Gary McQueen, Derrick Peyton, Donnie McQueen, and Jeffery McQueen.
In lieu of flowers the family of James Randle McQueen suggest memorial donations be made to Bowling Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
