James Donald Mino, age 90 of North Olmsted, Ohio, passed away on September 30, 2025. He was born in Cleveland to the late Michael and Tary Mino. James is survived by his wife, Joyce (nee Stein); his children, Mary (Jim) Eigner, Edward (Coren), Robert (Nancy), and Judy (Jayme); 6 grandchildren, Brittany (Thomas), Randi (Matthew), Mytro, Henry, John (Megan), Kenneth (Kaitlen), and Jackson (Lydia); 8 great-grandchildren, Evan, Ella, Findlay, Harper, Olivia, Alexis, Eleanor, and Evelyn; and 3 step-grandsons, Brian, Evan, and Sean. Jim had a deep love for sports, especially golf and baseball. He also enjoyed attending plays and was known for his sociable nature, always welcoming conversation and connection with those around him. As a practicing Catholic, he graduated from St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland and belonged to St. Richard's parish. Jim worked at Midland Steel for 40 years as a draftsman and an estimator. After retirement, he continued to work at John Knox Church for 27 years. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Sunset Legacy Funeral Home, 6265 Columbia Road North Olmsted. Upon entering the cemetery grounds, please follow the posted signs directing you to the right toward Sunset Legacy Funeral Home.
