James M. "Jim" Neubert

James M. Neubert, age 71 of Greenville, passed away peacefully but unexpectedly, on Thursday, November 2, 2023. He was born on October 22, 1952 in Appleton to the late Mills and Virginia (Kern) Neubert. On November 4, 1969 he married Marilyn "Mully" and together they had four children. Marilyn preceded him in death on July 30, 2020. Jim enjoyed the outdoors. Anything he could do outside was where he wanted to be. Hunting, fishing and cutting wood, yard work and gardening, especially his flower beds, he never sat still. He loved animals, and enjoyed taking care of them on his mini farm. He also enjoyed watching the Packers play and being a member of the Greenville Lions Club. His greatest joy was spending his time with his children and grandchildren.
Jim is survived by his children; son, Jim Jr. (Gina) Neubert daughter, Sheila (Scotty Schroeder) Kasal, sons, Ryan (Lauranne) Neubert, and Paul Neubert, grandchildren; Makayla, Mason, Bailey, Cassie, Emily, Mckenna, Paris and Aiden as well as his girlfriend, Becky Peters. He is further survived by his sisters; Susie (Gordy Thivierge) Behm and Shirley Vandenberg, sister in law, Brenda Stubner and uncle, Jack Hanson. He is further survived by his faithful companion dog, Hershey, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife, Marilyn and brother, Mike Neubert.
Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Valley Funeral Home N1858 Greenville Dr. Greenville beginning at 11:00am until the memorial service which is to be held at 3:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and entire staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton for the wonderful care given to Jim.
