Jimmy was one of the most special people we have ever had the privilege of knowing. His generosity knew no bounds. Even when life took him to South Carolina, he never let distance stop him from staying connected with those who mattered to him. He would stop by whenever he was in town, always ready to share a laugh, a story, or simply catch up.
What made Jimmy so remarkable wasn´t just his kindness-it was his ability to make everyone feel valued. He had a way of making those around him feel seen and heard, whether you were a long-time friend or someone he had just met. His conversations were full of warmth, and his presence always brought a sense of peace and joy.
Even my children loved talking to him, especially about football. They looked forward to his visits, knowing that those talks weren´t just about the game-they were about life, about learning, and about sharing a connection that was truly one of a kind.
We are all going to miss Jimmy. His laughter, his wisdom, his big heart-they will forever be etched in our memories. He was a person who made our lives richer just by being in them. We are grateful for every moment we shared with him and will hold him in our hearts always.

Jimmy´s spirit will live on in all of us, in the lessons he taught, the kindness he showed, and the love he shared. Thank you, Jimmy, for everything. We will miss you dearly. It was an honor being your neighbors.

As some other neighbors, as well as family have stated, Jimmy was one of the most generous, kind, and friendly neighbors I've ever had. I'll never forget looking out my window one hot summer day to see Jimmy tracking down the landscape crew to pass out some cold waters. Seemingly small acts of kindness were just a part of Jimmy's DNA and we truly miss him already. Rest in Peace Jimmy

Although I haven´t seen Jimmy for over 20 years I am so saddened to hear of his passing as well as that of his son. I was a waitress the restaurant Jimmy used to come to on an almost daily basis. He was truly one of the kindest people I´ve ever met and I sincerely mean that. If you were haha bad day he had a story to make you smile. If I was too busy to eat so he always had a snickers bar, a snack to give from the supply he kept with him. When I would bring my children there he ALWAYS has a toy or a stuffed animal to give them.
A truly special human being! Rest in peace Jimmy

Jimmy and I spoke often in Huger, SC neighborhood. He enjoyed his water view, his space, the quiet in the forest, the birds in the trees or on the water, the bright and clear skies at night with a vast array of stars, the train whistle in the distance, and the planes that flew overhead. Yes that Jimmy was generous in taking bottles of water out to community landscaping staff and package delivery drivers. Stories ... oh yes ... Jimmy had his stories. Rest In peace buddy.

We had the pleasure of living next door to Jimmy for the last 6 months. When we moved in, he was the first to welcome us to the neighborhood. I knew immediately he was a great man! And his homemade cookies couldn´t be beat! We´d talk almost daily in the driveway as we each headed out for the day or over the fence at night as we tended to dinner on the grill. He was truly a great neighbor and friend and we will miss him dearly. Our sincere condolences to all his family and friends. RIP Jimmy!

Jimmy, the kindest most generous and caring man we ever met. Always giving. Always loving. Always caring. No matter when. No matter what. We lived immediately next door to Jimmy and if there was ever a neighbor and friend you wanted or needed, Jimmy was the man. We will never forget the "meltaways" he would buy and drop off for us literally every week. If you needed something Jimmy had it. Jimmy did it. We will miss Jimmy but never forget him. They just don´t make them anymore like Jimmy. Rest in peace brother. And thank you for everything. You were simply the best.

Jimmy was one of a kind- I met him in the summer of 1997, becoming great friends over the years. More generous than anyone I´ve ever known, always thinking about others ahead of himself. Nothing made Jimmy happier than when he was surprising someone else with an impromptu visit, those of which we will dearly miss. I had the pleasure of spending many hours on the water with Jimmy doing what he loved almost as much as the NY Giants, fishing for striped bass and tuna. Photo albums are loaded from the good ol´ days where Jimmy was a regular crew member and great first mate. This picture was June of 2023, just before Jimmy moved to SC. We made sure it was a great trip, as we knew it would be the last, at least for a while. Sadly, it was the last. I´ll remember and think of Jimmy everyday and this is how I´ll remember him. Love and miss you already my friend.

I met Jimmy in freshman year at St Mary´s HS and we became life long friends. He was always a tough competitor and a true gentleman in everything he did and accomplished in his lifetime. At our recent 50th reunion we reminisced with our old classmates and Jimmy was warmly embraced by all. He will be sorely missed. RIP old friend.
