James Kenneth "Kenny" Null, age 72, of Five Points, Alabama passed away on January 6, 2024, after an extended illness at Traylors Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on January 14, 1951, to the late Burton C. Null and Mary Emma Longshore Null in LaGrange, Georgia. Before his retirement, he worked in sales of Plumbing and Electrical Supplies for over 45 years in sales. He enjoyed watching Alabama Football, Pro Wrestling, and NASCAR Races and he always had an appetite for a good grilled steak. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son whom he adored, Ryan Null; sister, Linda Steele; brothers, David Null, and Ricky Null.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Shannon Null, of Five Points, Alabama; grandson, Jace Null; granddaughter, Jasmine Bryant; brother-in-law, Terry Steele; grandcat, Nellie Jo Null; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will have visitation on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Jimmy McMillian officiating. Private inurnment will be held at Bethel Baptist Church in Welch, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of James "Kenny" Null to the American Cancer Society. American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Watching Red birds off his front porch and talking about our loved ones... now when I see one it can be him looking down as well. I miss you already uncle Kenny . It still doesn´t seem real but after your service today , I know your always in my heart and now you´re with our family having the time of your life. No sickness or pain anymore. You and daddy and uncle Ricky behave up there and give everybody a hug and a kiss and tell them I love them and you so much till we meet again.
