James Murray O'Brien Jr

James M. O'Brien Jr., age 74, died on October 20, 2022, after a long courageous battle with pneumonia in Florida. Jim is survived by life partner, Robert Rinaldi, of Delray Beach, Florida, his many lifetime friends from Boston, Massachusetts and Delray Beach and his many Warren cousins from Massachusetts. James O'Brien was born on September 6, 1948 in Milton, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late James M. and Mary (King) O'Brien. Jim was a long time resident of Milton in his early years before moving to Delray Beach where he lived for over 30 years. Jim loved spending time with friends and enjoyed Cape Cod where he could often be found on Bass River. His many interests included history, finance, boating and travel. Jim attended Milton Academy and graduated from Trinity College with a liberal arts degree. He was in the real estate business for his entire career working at many Boston and Florida real estate companies before forming his own company, M.O.R. Management, in Florida. Jim will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12th at 3 p.m. at the Del Lago Chapel, 131 South Lake Drive, Lake Worth, FL 33460. A Celebration of Jim's life will be held in Milton, Massachusetts at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's name can be made to Milton Academy.
