James C. Otts, age 85, of Hamilton, MS, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 11:00am from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Crews Cemetery. Bro. Robert Moore to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
Pallbearers: McKedzie Crump, Layne Holloway, Jerry Davis, Joey Ferraro, Brian Gilstrap, and Blake Gilstrap
James was born on April 22, 1939 in Lamar County, AL to the late Harvey C. Otts and the late Essie Gosa Otts. He was a graduate of Sulligent High School and later proudly served in the U.S Army. James previously worked and retired from Bryan Foods in West Point, MS. He thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors especially working with his cows, going hunting and fishing or playing golf. He loved his family dearly and his precious memory will always be cherished and greatly missed.

Daughter: Christina Otts, Hamilton, MS
Sisters: Jo Ruth Rowe, Tremont, MS
Patsy Puckett (Edward), Sulligent, AL
Grandchildren: McKedzie Crump (Locke) and Haley Clemmons (Layne Holloway)
Great Grandchild: Paisley Crump
A Very Special Friend: Lena Phillips, Mobile, AL
