Rev. James Edward Pashia of Farmington, Missouri, was born on October 15, 1953 in Old Mines, Missouri, a son of the late Charles J. and Mary Alice (Coleman) Pashia. James went to his heavenly home on Sunday, June 25, 2023, having reached the age of 69.
Those who remain to cherish his memory include his wife, Geneva Pashia; three sons: Shane Pashia (wife, Michelle), Christopher Minton, Timothy Minton; grandchildren: Justin Pashia (wife, Kayla), Hunter Pashia, Kyra Pashia; great-granddaughter, Everligh; siblings: Bernadette Sappington, Thaddeus Pashia (wife, Carolyn), Catherine Villmer (husband, Max), Betty Graves (husband, Larry), Donna Gegg (husband, Mark), Janice Reynolds, Judy Bone (husband, Dave). Also surviving are brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, church family and many dear friends.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his siblings: Mary McMahan, John Pashia, Charles Pashia, Charlene Campbell, Paschal Pashia; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Clyde and Lucille Skaggs.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 11 am until the time of his service at 2 pm, held at DeClue Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Bob Adams. Interment will follow at New Diggins Cemetery in Mineral Point, Missouri.
DeClue Funeral Home was honored to have served and ministered to the family and friends of Mr. James Pashia.

We were so pleased to meet Brother Pashia at a recent funeral of a family member and share the fellowship dinner that followed at Big River Church. We are sorry for losing him this way, but so happy knowing he is happy where he is today !!!!! He IS HOME !
