James Patterson Obituary
James Loyd Patterson, 60, of Amarillo passed on August 27, 2025 at BSA Hospital.

James was born July 26, 1965 in Taft, California to Don and Wilma (Bahney) Patterson. He was raised and attended school in Weatherford, Oklahoma graduating with the class of 1983. James went on to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) for two years. He entered the Army where he served his country proudly for twelve years. James was an employee of Tradewinds Airport in Amarillo where he was a Line Service Supervisor for many years.
James is survived by two brothers, John Patterson and wife Joanna of Glenville, Georgia, and Jimmy “Jim” Don Patterson of Weatherford, Oklahoma; as well as many cherished friends and colleagues. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and many other family members.
