James H. Peck Jr.

HALIFAX - James Howard Peck, Jr., age 82, of Halifax, PA died January 23, 2026, at home in peace.

He was born on December 7, 1943 in Harrisburg, PA the son of the late James H. Peck, Sr. and Betty (Wilson) Peck.

James was married to Brenda (Silks) Peck for 59 years.

James was a 1962 graduate of Halifax High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam Era. He retired as lineman leader from PPL's Elizabethville Service Center after 39 1/2 years of service.

James was a member of Halifax Community Church, and he was a former member of the Millersburg Moose. He enjoyed riding horses, and his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He loved animals and spending time camping with his family. He always like doing handyman jobs around the home.

In addition to his wife Brenda he is survived by his sons Brian Peck and his wife Lisa of Millersburg, Scott Peck and his wife April of Halifax, grandchildren Brianna Abbott, Madeline Peck, Danielle Peck, Claudia Peck, Ava Peck, James Peck, Christopher Bloom, and Gared Bloom, and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Patty Coady and her husband Skip, a sister Linda Evangelista and her husband Joe, and a brother Larry "Chuck" Peck and his wife Leona.

He was preceded in death by a grandchildren Jenna Peck, and Ryan Peck, a sister Suzette "Sue" Kuhn, and a brother William "Bill" Peck.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Halifax Community Church from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Reigle's Bible Fellowship Cemetery.
