It is with a heavy heart we have to announce the passing of our beloved James E Peddle. James' earthly time came to an end after a lengthy illness on December 6,2025.
James' life was extremely enriched. He was a member of The U.S. Army as well as the U.S. Marines. During his time in the military James served time in Vietnam where he earned 2 purple heart medals. He retired from Raytheon (Manchester), then continued to work at Airgas where he finished off his working career.
While work was a big part of his life ,James lived for his family. He was predeceased by His wife Linda Peddle (Lariviere), his sister Priscilla Macdonald, his 4 brother -in- laws; Virgil Wright, Charlie Baron, Nelson Randall, Bill Macdonald.
James leaves behind a legacy of love and memories within his 2 daughters Kim Gagne; Trisha Jameson and her significant other Ron Walker, His 3 grandsons Aaron Witham; James Witham; Joshua Lee, his 5 great grandchildren, Harper, Oliver, Cody, Skylar, and Beau; as well as his Sisters Joan Randall, Marry Baron, Edith Wright, and all of James' nieces and nephews.
James loved to travel to warmer climates, New England sports teams, a round of golf, a string of bowling, most of all he enjoyed watching wrestling. On many occasions you could find him enjoying a quick breakfast at his favorite spot Belmont Hall.
A gathering to celebrate and honor the life of this wonderful human will be held on December 16th, 2025, at 8am to 10am at Phaneuf Funeral Home on 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104. To be followed by a military honors ceremony at the Veterans cemetery in Boscawen NH in the chapel.
