In Loving Memory of James A. Perozzi. February 18, 1950 - March 28, 2025. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James A. Perozzi, who left us suddenly on 03/28/2025 at the age of 75. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Jim lived a life rich in laughter, love, and steadfast loyalty. A lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jim rarely missed a game, cheering on his beloved black and gold with tremendous passion. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life - an early morning on the golf course, the thrill of a hot slot at the casino, and casting his fishing line into the tranquil waters of Deep Creek Lake. Whether it was sharing s’mores around the campfire or spending quiet moments on the dock, Deep Creek was his happy place, a sanctuary where countless memories were made. Jim dedicated an incredible 47 years of his life to Power Piping Company, where he built a career marked by hard work, integrity, and leadership. He began his journey as a quality control technician, quickly earning a reputation for his keen eye for detail and communication excellence. Through determination and a relentless work ethic, he rose through the ranks, ultimately retiring as the co-owner and Chief Operating Officer. He was not only a respected leader but also a mentor and friend to countless colleagues. His passion for his work and the pride he took in every project left a lasting impact on the company and the people who had the privilege of working alongside him. But above all else, Jim cherished his family. He married Kathi Zubritsky, his high school sweetheart, and they celebrated over 53 years together. He was a proud father to Jamie (Kim) and Kristin (Kenny Stockman) and an adoring grandfather to Dominic and Leah Stockman, and Tyler and Gracie Perozzi, always present for their sporting events, recitals, and milestones. His unwavering support and boundless love will be forever missed. He is also survived by brother Daniel (Loretta) Perozzi and sister Cheryl (David) Gilotty. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Delio ‘Day Day’ and Helene Susko Perozzi. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Thursday, April 3 at St. Spyridon’s Hellenic Center in Monessen. Greetings with family and friends 4:30-5:30 pm, with blessing and sharing of memories at 5:30 followed by a buffet dinner. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and Tunnel to Towers in Jim’s memory. Though he may be gone from our sight, his spirit will forever remain in our hearts - every touchdown, every perfect swing, every gentle ripple on the lake. Rest easy Jim, until we meet again.
