James T. Perry

James T. Perry, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Wisconsin Rapids Health Services. He was born on September 24, 1945 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin the son of George and Helen (Dahl) Perry.
Jim worked for Consowald a division of Consolidated Papers and then for New Page. He was an easy-going guy, he loved spending time with his family and friends, he loved to work in his garage, he was always making something for someone especially woodworking, that was one of his favorite hobbies. He was a kind hearted man who would help others in any way he could. He also loved watching sports; he enjoyed having his family, friends and neighbors over for get-togethers.
Jim will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews especially his niece and caregiver, Rhonda Fink; his only surviving sibling, his sister Donna Meyer, he is further survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Harriet Oleson and Norma McGrath; brothers, Edwin, Robert, Keith and David; sister-in-law, Dorothy Perry and by his brothers-in-law, Ronald Oleson, Jerry McGrath and Duane Meyer.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Rudolph.
Jim's family would like to thank all the care givers at Wisconsin Rapids Health Services and Aspirus Palliative Care Team for everything they have done for Jim. We also want to thank all the other family, friends, neighbors for everything they have done for Jim over the years.
