James H. Phillips, age 70, of Sicklerville, NJ, formerly of Woodbury, went to be with our Lord on September 22, 2025.

Jim worked as a Longshoreman for ILA Local #1291 for over 40 years. A simple man of few words, he found joy in listening to Bruce Springsteen, indulging his sweet tooth with Sweet Eats cake, and taking trips with his wife to New Hope and Peddler's Village. Jim was an avid fan of the Eagles and Flyers and cherished his pets Zoey, Boo, and Reese.

Beloved husband of 22 years to Sherry Ammons-Phillips (nee Matese). Devoted father of James Phillips (Lisa Marie Muldoon) and stepfather of Stacy Ammons (Darren Harris). Loving grandfather of Dylan Ammons, Brayden Harris, and Ila Jo Phillips. Son of the late James and the late Agnes Phillips. Dear brother of Carol Cole, Jan Sheldon (Harry), and Steve Phillips (Cindy). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation to celebrate Jim's life on Friday, September 26th from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Church / Our Lady of Peace Parish, S. Main Street & Carroll Ave., Williamstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association by visiting www.ALZ.org or to Our Lady of Peace Parish, 32 Carroll Avenue, Williamstown, NJ 08094.
