James Michael (Mike) Poe passed away on February 7, 2026. He was born on June 13, 1967, to Ruthann Johnson (mother) and Ronnie Johnson (stepfather) in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Mike spent most of his life in Arkansas. He was known for his hard work and dedication. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, riding his Razor, and taking care of his cats.
Mike was one of the toughest men his family knew but had the gentlest heart of anyone around. He would do anything for anyone and would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it.
Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Ruthann Johnson, and his stepfather Ronnie Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Holly Poe of Beebe, daughter, Emily Poe of Beebe, stepdaughter Tiffany (Robert) Reynolds, siblings, Kevin (Lana) Poe of Searcy, Dinah (Poe) Drake of Illinois, Mark (Leanne) Johnson of Texas, three grandchildren, Brayden, Brody, and Luna, as well as many other family and friends.
