James R. Pratt, 78, of Lockwood, NY, passed away at home on Friday December 19, 2025. He is survived by his companion, Patricia French, his daughter, Jennifer Pratt; his step-children, Louis and Becky Pratt, Daphne French and Robert Boully, Jerry and Christina French, Angela Jenkins and Ben Kirkland; his brothers and sister, Douglas and Mary Pratt, Edward and Claire Pratt, Nancy Pratt, Donald and Penny Pratt, Gerald and Anna Pratt; his seven grandchildren, Robert, Levi, Randy, Trenton, Kyla, Taylor, Parker; several nieces, nephews and their families. James was born in Hoosick Falls, NY on August 29, 1947, the son of William and Jean (Hay) Pratt. He truly loved nature and always cherished his time in the outdoors.

So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. As a little girl my grandparents would bring my siblings and I to his house and we would swim in the pond, eat sun chips and feed the grasshoppers to the fish. We loved going to his house to go swimming. It is a wonderful memory. May he rest in peace with my grandparents. God bless
