James M. "Jim" Reimer, age 57, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025 with his loving family at his side after a sudden decline in his health. Jim loved life and adored his three children.
Jim was born in Brighton, MA on June 13, 1968 as a fraternal twin to his brother Dennis. Son of the late Roy and Louise Anne Reimer. He grew up in Hanson, MA later residing in Mashpee, MA.
As a hard worker, Jim held a fair amount of jobs throughout his career. Most of all, Jim had dedicated close to 25 years being employed at the South Shore Hospital in Central Processing sanitizing surgical equipment. Most recently, Jim was employed for a little over one year for Healthcare Services Group. Jim was a 1986 graduate of the Palfray Street School.
Most importantly, Jim was a man who valued family, whom he loved dearly. Jim was truly blessed to be the loving father of Tyler, Thomas and Owen. Jim's children explain that they cherished long walks with their father, car rides, listening to music and the times spent with their dog- Sasha. Jim was proud of Sasha. An Agouti Husky which is a special breed because of their fur. Jim once described how he liked to sit by the fire with Shasha and his three boys.
Jim's legacy is the love that he showed his three boys instilling upon them hard work and togetherness. Jim was proud of his sons.
Jim is survived by his brothers Michael G. Reimer (Theresa), Stephen F. Reimer (Kimberly) and Dennis N. Reimer (Andrea). His three boys, niece's and his nephew. Aunts, cousins and many friends.
A celebration of Jim's life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 10am at Fern Hill cemetery in Hanson, MA.
