It is with the deepest sadness that we can confirm the passing of James P. Rendon. Son, brother, uncle, and most importantly Daddy. Most knew him as Jimbo, and some knew him as Jo or JoJo.

Jimbo was tragically taken from us on November 11, 2024. He was 36 years old. Jimbo was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. He spent many years residing Rio Rancho, NM.

He is survived by his children Enrique, Dominic, Isaiah, and Isaac, his parents James and Edna, his sister and brother-in-law Savannah and Bryan, and their children Damon, Jaelyn, Kaelyn, and Raelyn. Cousin DeAndra who was more like his sister and her son Curtis. He had a very close bond with his cousins Alex, Gabbie, and Drea. Many Aunts uncles and cousins, as follows: Nana Rose and Uncle James, Uncle Johnny, cousin Deidre and her children, Auntie Rhonda, Auntie Barbara and Uncle Mark and Andrew, Auntie Carla, cousin Brandy and her children, Auntie Ann and her children and grandchildren, Auntie Roberta and Randy, Uncle Paul, Auntie Sandy, and their children and grandchildren. He had many, many great aunts and great uncles and many more cousins.

Jimbo loved Jesus, his family, and his friends that became family. He had a heart unlike any other, a heart of gold. He would give you the shirt off of his back. He was a loyal friend, taking pride in caring and protecting those he loved. He was most proud of his children. He loved all of his boys so very much. They could do absolutely no wrong and he almost never said no. If they asked for it, he would make it happen. They were his angels. He loved and adored his parents. He was a typical momma's boy. He was his momma's baby. His dad was his best friend. They shared many things but their love for conspiracy theories was top tier. He was the fun Uncle. The uncle that Never said no. He was famous for saying, "Just don't tell your mom!"

We will carry and honor your memory forever.

We will get justice for you.

If I had only known the last time would be the last time

I would've put off all the things I had to do

I would've stayed a little longer, held on a little tighter

Now what I'd give for one more day with you

'Cause there's a wound here in my heart where something's missing

And they tell me that it's gonna heal with time

But I know you're in a place where all your wounds have been erased

And knowing yours are healed is healing mine.

-Casting Crowns
