Mr. James M. Reynolds, age 94 of the Stinking Creek Community passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023. He was a Member of New Liberty Baptist Church, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of West Terre Haute, IN, Lodge #687, F. & A.M. with the Degree of Master Mason. James was a master carpenter and electrician, loved gardening, farming, and his family very much. Preceded in death by Parents, Matt and Pernie Meredith Reynolds, Brothers, John Earl Reynolds, Charlie Reynolds, Howard Reynolds, Robert Reynolds, Earnest Reynolds, and Baby Brother Woodrow, Sisters, Anna Mae Woods, Ruby Fay Reynolds, Freda Meredith, Edith Ayers, and Evelyn Reynolds McCullah.
Survivors: Wife, Pauline Ayers Reynolds; Step-Children, Teresa Blankenship and husband, Donny, Tony Ayers and Ann Finchum, and Troy Ayers and Teresa Nelson; Several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, Lon Edward Reynolds; Sister, Pauline Green. Several Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, other Relatives and Friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 5:00 – 6:45 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home. Masonic Rites will be conducted at 6:45 P.M. by Campbell County Masonic Lodge #778 F. & A.M. Funeral Services will immediately follow with Rev. Anthony Leach officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, September 20, 2023, 10:30 A.M. and proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for 11:00 A.M. Graveside Services and Interment. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. James M. Reynolds.
