James Edward Robertson, 85 of Centerview, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

James was born June 7, 1940 in Atlus, Oklahoma, son of Charles Edward and Callie Mae (Bass) Robertson. He was raised in Altus, Oklahoma, where he graduated from High School. James was united in married to Edna Faye Smith on April 3, 1966 in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. The couple moved to Pleasant Hill, where James worked at the R.B. Rice Company and later, Stahls where he eventually retired from. He was an avid Star Trek and TV fan.

James is survived by his wife: Edna of Centerview, MO; two daughters: Tina Daniels of Centerview, MO; and Connie Bailey of Warrensburg, MO; son: Donald Robertson (Andrea) of Kingsville, MO; grandchildren: Ashley Robertson; Sabrina Lewis; Ethan Robertson; Sarah Robertson; Wyatt Robertson; Melanie Robertson; sister: Linda Doss (Reggie) of Oklahoma City, OK; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 22nd at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.
