James Devon Ruff, a cherished member of the community, passed away at the age of 38. He was born on October 8, 1984, in Haywood County to his loving parents, Jim and Mary Davis Ruff. Devon's passing occurred on July 27, 2023, at his home.
A charismatic and warm-hearted soul, Devon had a zest for life that ignited joy in those around him. His love for fishing was unparalleled, forming unforgettable memories with both family and friends. Whether casting lines from the serene lakeside or sharing stories of past adventures, Devon's passion for angling brought people together in a profound way.
Not limiting himself to one passion alone, Devon also found great pleasure in antiquing. Exploring dusty vintage stores and scouring flea markets were adventures that fulfilled his curiosity. He possessed an eye for unique treasures and delighted in uncovering hidden gems from bygone eras.
Devon will forever be loved and remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have shared in his life's journey. He is survived by his adoring parents, Jim and Mary Davis Ruff; sister Misty Ruff; brother Shane Graziosi; as well as several beloved nieces and nephews who meant the world to him.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
