James F. Ryan

James (Jim) Francis Ryan, age 92, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025. He was born in Philadelphia on February 21, 1933 and was a proud member of St. Philomena parish and a longtime resident of Lansdowne. He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 69 years, Helen, his children Jim, Jeanne and Maureen and he will be rejoined with his daughter, Jacquelyn. His life's joy included being "Pop Pop" to twelve grandchildren and eleven (and counting) great grandchildren. He was a proud Army veteran, a loving family man, a career Carpenter's Union member, a master carpenter, a lifetime volunteer, and a renowned watercolor artist. His passion for life and generosity with the many talents he was given will forever be missed by all who knew him. A funeral mass will be held at St. Philomena's Catholic Church in Lansdowne, PA on Friday, May 2 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
