James L. Saylor Sr. 74, of Anderson, IN, left the bonds of earth on November 9, 2024, to touch the face of God after a sudden death.
He was born on July 4, 1950 in Anderson, IN. Jim was a meat cutter for many years at Emge's, Yancey's, and Marsh Supermarkets. He served as an associate pastor at Cornerstone Chapel in Anderson, IN.
He is survived by his four children, Kim Saylor, James Saylor (Rhonda), Kristal Keaton (Jason), Brian Saylor (Vanessa); eight grandchildren, Brian Saylor (Destiny), Karra Saylor (Jeremy), Brandon Saylor (Karina), Jack Covey (Michael), Kiley Stephens (Tyler), Breanna Keaton, Caleb Saylor (Alyson), Cody Saylor; eight great-grandchildren, Laila, Grayson, Branson, Blakely, Landon, Braxus, Jayden, Kaydence; six siblings, Steve, Vickie, Mike, Terry, Jeff, Tammy and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nell Saylor, father Claude Saylor, mother Marie Saylor, sister Connie Eytchison, and brother Roger Saylor.
There will not be any services at this time. We are planning a celebration of life on his birthday July 4, 2025. Everyone is welcome to attend. Details will be provided at a later date. www.LooseCares.com
