James D. Siniard, also known as Jim, 74, passed away August 8, 2025 in his Altus home. He was

born on April 7, 1951 in Altus, OK, to John (J.R.) and Opel Siniard.

James graduated from Altus High School in 1969, then attended Altus Junior College while

working for Cable Com. He then moved to Edmond, Oklahoma to continue his education at

Central State University.

Throughout his life, James was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He held a

variety of roles over the years, including as a lineman at OG&E in Oklahoma City, OK, a

supervisor at ICG in Colorado Springs, CO, an electrical contractor in Alamogordo, NM and

Amarillo, TX. He spent the final two decades of his career as the Midwest Regional Team

Manager for UtilX, based out of Oklahoma City. James was never one to sit still - he was

always ready to lend a hand to make a repair, finish a project, or just help.

A man of intellect and curiosity, James loved all types of music and was an avid reader. He was

widely loved for his thoughtful conversations and natural ability to engage with people from all

walks of life. He was a man of intention and often encouraged his family and friends to "do

their research".

James is preceded in death by his son, Jason Siniard; parents, J.R. and Opel Siniard; brother,

Tom Siniard; brothers-in-law E.R. (Red) Stafford and Leroy (Butch) Peer; and former wife, Renee

Siniard.

James is survived by his children: Julie Kennedy and husband Brad of Chesapeake, VA; Karla

Copeland of Yukon, OK; Stephani Siniard, Jamie Holderby, and Justin Siniard and wife Jennifer,

all of Oklahoma City and his six grandchildren: Camie Holderby, Joshua Siniard, Dylan Kennedy,

Logan Kennedy, Emily Kennedy, and Grayson Copeland. James is survived by his sisters: Carolyn

Peer of Colorado Springs, Co, Wynell Stafford of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Brenda Stavinoha and

husband John of Oklahoma City, OK; as well as his aunt Loris Hall of Altus, OK; former wife,

Cindy Hall of Shawnee, OK; former wife, Camesa Passarelli of Oklahoma City, OK; and many

nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
