James Spadea Obituary
James G. Spadea, 82 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at UMass Medical Center.
James was born in Worcester, a son of the late Gregorio and Alice (Santora) Spadea. He worked as a finisher for the former Standard Foundry for 28 years before he retired. After retirement, James worked part-time at McDonald’s in Leicester.
James is survived by two sisters, Rose Mary Spadea of Worcester with whom he lived and Josephine Andrukonis of Worcester: several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He is predeceased by four sisters, Carmella Amato, Antonette Bailey, Mary Brooks, and Pauline Tenney.
Services for James will be held privately. MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Leukemia And Lymphoma Society, PO Box 22324, New York, NY 10087
