Mr. James David Spicer, age 58 of Jenkinsburg, passed away Saturday, March, 18, 2023, at Wellstar Sylvan Grove Hospital. David was born Friday, August 14, 1964, in Atlanta, GA to the late James Orval Spicer and Gloria Wheeler Spicer who survives. David was in the flooring business and was employed with Spectra Flooring in Peachtree Corners for 27 years most recently as a superintendent.
David was an avid fisherman and motorcycle rider who dearly loved his grandchildren.
Along with his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Rita Jean Spicer, son; David Spicer, David's fiancé; Ashley Mitchell, both of Monticello, grandchildren; Shyan, Jalin, Alexis, Caden, Colson and Cambrie, two sisters; Arlene Drake and Justine Garrett, his former daughter-in-law, Sabrina Spicer.
A memorial service for Mr. James David Spicer will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The Family will hold a visitation prior to the Service beginning at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are welcome to gather at the Spicer's residence, 368 Patrick Cir., Jenkinsburg, for food after the Service.
