Bernie ~ James E. "Jim" Stanfield, 70 of Bernie, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at his residence in Bernie, Missouri.
Jim, son of James H. and Doris Phillips Stanfield, Jr., was born on Friday, December 24, 1954 in Bernie, Missouri.
He was Owner of JCS Tool Rental in Malden and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
On November 28, 1985 in Malden, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Cathy Hartsfield. She survives.
Other survivors include son, Travis Stanfield and wife, Michelle of Bernie; daughter, Samantha Jones and husband, Chris of Malden; grandchildren, Justin Stanfield, Corbin Brown, Jarred Jones, Camryn Stanfield, Taylor Stanfield, Jaxon Stanfield, Colton Jones, Dara Jones and Tori Stanfield; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Dennis Crippen and wife, Sheila of Dexter, Don Stanfield and wife, Shelia of Springfield, Glen Stanfield of Foley, Alabama and mother-in-law, Glady Hartsfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sabrina Leigh Bolton; granddaughter, Kaleigh Jane Jones, brother, Larry Crippen and father-in-law, AL Hartsfield.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2025 at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. The funeral service will be at 11 A.M., Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden with Reverend Johnny Meese officiating. Interment will be in Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Missouri.
Landess Funeral Home and Crematory of Malden is in charge of the arrangements.
