James E. Stanko

James E. Stanko, 65, of Chenango Forks born March 24, 1958 passed away on Wednesday, October 11,
2023. He is survived by his loving wife Justina M. Stanko; his daughters Tessa Baker, Keyne Day, Anjelica
Rowe and son in law Caleb Rowe. His brothers Richard J. Stanko and wife Terri, Stephen P. Stanko and
wife Theresa, nieces and nephews. His special sister in law Teresa Day and niece Margaret Day. He is
predeceased by his beloved mother Ann C. Stanko and father Edward J. Stanko of Endicott New York.
James "Jimmy" was a plumber and pipefitter for local union 112 (Binghamton). He was a handyman at
home and spent a lot of his free time helping family and friends. He enjoyed the great outdoors and
everything it has to offer from hunting and fishing to foraging for mushrooms and wild plants. He
especially loved to cook and harvest fruits and vegetables from his garden. He was a devoted husband
and a dedicated father. He is dearly missed by family and friends.
A private graveside service was held at Riverhurst Cemetery on October 20 th, 2023 with Funeral
arrangements entrusted to Leon Pucedo Funeral Home.
