Catherine Nirchi

Catherine Nirchi, 88 of Endicott, NY, passed away on February 21, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, Giovanni and Lucia Palmigiani and several siblings. She is survived by her husband, Antonio Nirchi; two sons, Anthony (Jeanine) Nirchi, John Nirchi; two grandchildren, Nicole Mushalla, Dave (Natalie) Nirchi; four great-grandsons, Luke Mushalla, Rocco, Nicco and Marco Nirchi; one brother, Andrea Palmigiani; one sister, Giovanna Palmigiani. She was a devout catholic and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott. She had a deep devotion to Padre Pio and Mother Angelica. The family expresses sincere thanks to Mercy House and the team at Guthrie Lourdes Oncology and Infusion for their devotion to care and comfort.

Funeral services will be held Thursday February 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church 300 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. The family will receive friends at St. Anthony's Church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Mercy House 212 N.
