Nancy V. Nestlerode

Nancy V. Nestlerode, 70, of Endicott, NY passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Edith (Edmonson) Adams and her sister Gail Phillips.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dale and her children Michael Nestlerode of Fort Worth, TX and Amy (Chris) Fairchild of Pennellville, NY. She also leaves behind close family friend Everett Phillips, a niece, and several nephews, and her beloved dogs Maya and Sangye.

Nancy was born on Feb. 25, 1955 in Ballston Spa, NY. She later moved to Vestal, NY where she met her future husband Dale while in high school. They were married on Sept. 12, 1981.

Nancy graduated from Vestal High School in 1973. She went to Broome Community College and Binghamton University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree.

She was employed with IBM and later worked at the Binghamton Police Department as an administrative assistant.

Nancy was deeply committed to her faith and helping others. She was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church. She volunteered her time to her church, Toys for Tots and Crime Victims Assistance.

Nancy loved gardening, hiking, Maine, the ocean, lighthouses and watching birds. She could often be found at the dog park, enjoying time with her dogs. She loved going on adventures with her family and always had stories to share.

The family would like to thank the staff at UHS Main Tower 6th floor for their kindness and compassion.

Funeral services will be held on Feb. 9, 2026 at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 711 Farm to Market Rd., Endwell. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM followed by the service which will begin at 11:00 AM.
