Stanley – James "Pat" Patrick Stanley, age 72, of Glen St. Mary, Florida passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, at his residence with his loving family by his side. Pat was born in Jessip, Georgia on January 15, 1953, to the late Hugh Garden Stanley and Barbara Ann Madra Stanley. He was raised in Springfield area in Jacksonville and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. From an early age, Pat was intrigued by cars, motorcycles, and engines. Pat spent his life doing what he loved most, working with his hands and bringing life back to engines. He had a long successful career as a skilled mechanic, specializing in tow motors and forklifts. Whether in a busy worshop or under the hood of a vintage car in his garage, he took pride in every detail and never shied away from a challenge. Outside of work, his heart belonged to antique cars and motorcycles. He spent countless hours restoring old classics, returning them to their former glory. At home, he was a gentle soul who deeply loved his animals. His loyal dog, Daisy and his cat, Hex were constant companions. More than anything, Pat loved his family and cherished time with them. He was certainly a treasure and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. James was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lee Clifton "Porky" Stanley.

Pat is survived by his sister, Patrica "Dianne" (George) Creach of Jacksonville, FL; nephew, Joshua Stanley of Savannah, GA; nieces, Cactus (William) Wallace of Jacksonville, FL and Mandy (Brad) Hunsucker of Jacksonville, FL; great nephews, Rocco Hunsucker and Grayson Rodgers; great nieces, Caitlin (Patrick) Wallace and Kelsie (Corey) Rodgers; sister-in-law, Shirley Stanley of Jacksonville, FL; and numerous friends.

A Celebration of Pat's Life will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 11:00 am at V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services Chapel with Chaplain Jim Cox officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V. Todd Ferreira Funeral Services, 250 North Lowder Street, Macclenny, FL 32063 (904) 259-5700. Yesterday

Dianne, I am so sorry for the loss of your dear brother. Pat was such a sweet, good and kind man and I wish that he had had an easier path in this life. I was so sad to learn about him leaving far too soon. I have no doubt he is in a much better world and without pain now. My condolences to you and your family.
