James E Steele, age 85 of Obetz, OH, passed away on February 9, 2025. He was born on May 5, 1939 to the late Earl and Phoebe (Seagraves) Steele in Grayson, KY. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Earl Jr (Colleen) Steele, Otis (Ellen) Steele, Lucille (John) Rice, Bertha (Clarence) Wells, Paul (Dorothy) Steele, Faye (Harry) Scott, Mennie (Harold) Rogers, Raymond Steele, Bonnie (Ronald) Floyd, Carolyn Seagraves, Judy Perkins and Mary (Chester) Marcum. James is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Anna (Seagraves) Steele, children James "Phil" (Vicki Wilson) Steele, Sheila (Mike) Dorion and Bruce Edward Steele, sister Cora Messer of Grayson, KY, grandchildren Erin Steele, Shana (Cory) Aycock, Jamie (Krista) Steele, Joseph Steele, Justin (Amber) Steele, Brian (Jessica) Dorion, Anthony (Heather) Dorion, and Kyle (Ashley) Dorion, great grandchildren Jax Steele, Marlee Bates, Pacey Aycock, Jovie Steele, Landon Steele, Bellamy Steele, Jocelyn Dorion, Shelby Dorion, Nora Dorion, Colton Dorion, Corban Dorion, Elli Dorion, Kylie Dorion, Kameron Dorion and Kelsey Dorion.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Malone Funeral Home, 325 Malone Lane, Grayson, KY from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at Messer Rogers Cemetery, Grayson, KY.
