James F. "Jim" Stephens, 82, of Windfall, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024 at his home. He was born on May 20, 1942 to Otha and Dorothy (Fisher) Stephens in Noblesville, Indiana.
For many years, Jim was a welder, truck driver and farmer. Most of all, he loved farming, which brought him a lot of joy. Jim enjoyed traveling to Florida and camping. He loved his family and getting together with them for cookouts.
Jim is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ann "Cathy" Stephens; daughter, Cindy (Brad) Dowell; granddaughter, Kristina (Ned) Carmichael; grandsons, Wayne (Ashley) Stephens and Cody (Haley) Stephens; and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tony Stephens; grandson, Dustin R. Dowell; and siblings, Joseph, Robert, Charles, Donald, David, Ernest, Doris, Bonnie, Martha, Johnny, and Mary Carolyn.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with services at 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate.
