Lois M. Stephens, (nee Mattfeld) of Cincinnati, passed away on Feb. 28, 2025 at the age of 93. She was born on October 12, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio to William and Lillie (Koch) Mattfeld. Lois.
For many years, Lois thrived as a floral designer, sharing her artistic skills as a valued member of Julius Baer Flowers. Her passion for flower gardening was not only evident in her professional life but also in her personal joys, as she reveled in nurturing her own garden. A proud, longtime member of the Western Hills Garden Club, she cultivated friendships and shared her love of nature among fellow enthusiasts.
Lois was also known for her bright spirit and zest for life. In her younger days, she delighted in golf and travel, exploring the world while making lasting memories. Her delicious Sunday dinners were a family tradition, as she took great pride in her cooking, ensuring that each meal was a gathering of love and laughter.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children: Kenton (Valerie) Stephens & Kim (Joe) Jones; grandchildren: Scott (Kim) Jones & Kristen Todd; great grandchildren: Carter, Audrey, Simon, & Sawyer Jones & Sienna Todd; former husband: Dale Stephens.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents: William & Lillie (Koch) Mattfeld.
Services will be private.
