James Cipriani

It is with both heavy hearts and joyous memories that we announce the passing of James A. Cipriani, a beloved resident of Sayler Park, who will be forever remembered for his infectious laughter and warm spirit. Jim, as he was affectionately known, was born on June 26, 1956, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to John F. and Mary (Bode) Cipriani. He peacefully passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 69 from natural causes.
Jim was a proud graduate of West High School who dedicated over 40 years to the family business, Porter Precision Products, after a brief stint at Finne-Jask Company. He had a knack for bringing joy into everyday life-whether it was sharing a joke, pulling a prank at work, or enjoying the great outdoors with family and friends. Jim cherished his time fishing and camping, especially at Lake St. Mary, and was known to frequent Parkland Grill, where stories and connections were made.
Survivors include his beloved mom Mary (nee Bode) Cipriani; dear children: Melissa "Missy" Cipriani, Michelle "Shelly" Cipriani, and John Cipriani. Cherished grandchildren: Cierra, Chloe, Ava and Mason. Loving siblings: Marie Cipriani, John Cipriani, Margaret "Peggy" Heyne, Regina (Don) Hensley, Antoinette Johnson, Therese Cipriani, Vincent Cipriani, Donna Cipriani, Phillip (Lynn) Cipriani, Edward (Renee) Cipriani, and Veronica (Brian) Crusham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his extended family and friends.
Although he is preceded in death by his father, John Cipriani, brother Joseph Cipriani, sister Anunciata Cipriani, and brother-in-law Richard Johnson, Jim's legacy will continue to bring laughter and love to all who knew him.
A Gathering of Friends will take place on October 21, 2025, at Brater Winter Funeral Home, located at 138 Monitor Ave. in Sayler Park. Friends and family are invited to drop in from 5 PM to 7 PM Blessing Service at 6 PM. Let's come together to celebrate Jim's life, share stories, laughter, and create new memories in his honor.
