Linda Diane Paskal Freudiger

Linda Diane Freudiger, formerly known as Paskal (nee Franklin), will be remembered fondly after her passing on October 17, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on December 9, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to William and Veronica (née Capon) Franklin.
Linda was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Lisa and Melissa who were the center of her universe. She poured her heart into creating a loving and cozy home over the years-one where laughter flourished amidst an abundance of houseplants, filling every corner with warmth and life. She was a true "Mama Bear," always steadfastly supporting her daughters and teaching them the strength and resilience they would carry into their lives.
In addition to her role as an amazing mom, Linda enjoyed crafting, reading mystery novels, and solving crossword puzzles. Her delicious zucchini bread left a lasting impression on those lucky enough to enjoy it. Linda, was known for her thoughtfulness, always making a point to send cards for birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries. Her playful spirit made her a beloved figure among her grandchildren, who enjoyed her silly antics. She embraced every holiday with joy, filling her home with decorations and cherished family moments.
A lover of Cherry Cordial and Pumpkin ice cream, she found joy in simple pleasures, and there was nothing quite like seeing the smiles on her daughters' and grandchildren's faces, which made all of life's struggles fade away.
She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Lisa (Joe) Civitello and Melissa (Justin) Lentz; her delightful grandchildren: Lucas and Jacob "JJ" Civitello and Caelin, Alanna, and Nina Lentz; and two nieces. Linda now reunites with her parents and siblings, Bill, Theresa "Terri," and Michael Franklin.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 5 to 7 pm at Brater Winter Funeral Home, located at 138 Monitor Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45233. A short prayer service will conclude the gathering at 7 pm. Linda will be laid to rest at Bridgetown Cemetery on Friday at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial contributions to help with funeral costs, which can be made through the funeral home. As we gather to celebrate Linda's life, we will hold her spirit close, reflecting on the love and laughter she gave us all.
