In Loving Memory of Wayne Taylor

Wayne Taylor, a devoted husband, father, and veteran, passed away on January 6, at the age of 75, in Junction, Texas. Born December 29, 1948, Wayne leaves a legacy of love, service, and family.

Wayne married the love of his life, Patsy Porter, on May 25, 1968, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey together. Wayne served with honor in the Navy during the Vietnam War, demonstrating his commitment to his country and fellow servicemen.

After their time in the Navy, Wayne and Patsy built a life together, moving to Kermit, Texas, and eventually settling in Junction, where they created a warm and loving home. Wayne was a pillar of strength for his family, offering unwavering support and love throughout the years.

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife, Patsy Taylor, who stood by his side through thick and thin. His memory will be cherished by his daughter, Stephani Coons, and her husband, Mike, as well as his son, Robert Taylor, and his wife, Stacey. Wayne's legacy also lives on through his grandchildren: Kennon Hooker (wife Mallory), Victoria Midkiff (husband Josh), Kenzie (fiancé Jonathan), and numerous great-grandchildren.

Though Wayne has left this earthly realm, his spirit endures in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and grandson, Matthew Hooker, who surely welcomed him with open arms on the other side.

Wayne Taylor's life was a testament to the values of honor, love, and commitment. As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the joy he brought to those around him and the enduring impact of his legacy. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those who went before him.
