James Taylor Obituary
James was a 1983 graduate of Lithonia High School where he played football, ran track and was a friend to all. He went on to study turf and grass management at Lake City College. He spent his entire working career in the golf and landscape industry. Along with his respected work ethic, he was also a skilled golfer, animal lover and music enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his father - Marvin Taylor; Maternal grandparents - Arvil and Mable Pinkston; Aunt - Jane Pinkston and Paternal grandparents – S.C. and Elma Taylor.
He leaves behind his mother - Nancy P. Hitchcock, stepmom - Karen Taylor, his son - Noah and Noah's mother - Leslie Chalfonte Taylor, his daughter - Jasmine and his unborn grandson. Sisters - Faye Strauss (Jim Isaacs), Shannon Taylor and Jennifer Taylor. Nieces, Suzanne Strauss and Mollie Taylor. Aunt and Uncles – Tina, David (Surelle), Mark, Keith and Adam and many cousins, extended family members, friends, and his beloved pets.
